Peconic Pathfinders | Run-Walk-Hike | Paumanok Path www.peconicpathfinders.org Peconic Pathfinders was formed to find the hidden and lost trails, clean them up, maintain them and guide hikers and runners. We take a strong environmental stance and support local and global environmental groups.
Our weekly hikes, runs and training are basically free, but we do request that you join our group for a very small price, just to help us with our working expenses and insurance. Membership will be from now till the end of 2025.
Membership will put you on our e mail list so we can keep you informed on hikes and runs and special events.
Join the club! Membership includes an optional virtual 5K hike or run. We need your help. Join the club and volunteer.
Your membership will give you free access to one "virtual hike or run" You can do this anywhere and anytime.
Use the itsyourrace app from your phone and sign in at your hike or run. click start and you are on your way. The time will stop when you reach 3 miles. Post this on our Facebook page and take some pics. Bring some friend’s or meet up with us on one of our hikes or runs. (I can help you).
We need to know if you are a runner or a hiker and if you would like to be on one or more of our committees.
Committees will be formed for different tasks.
Trail Committee is most important as we work on the trails.
Race Committee needs help getting sponsors, organizing races, permits, water stops, refreshments.
